About Our Services
Carlin Co Electrical is a licensed electrical contracting business (REC 33210) operating in Melbourne, Victoria. We provide residential and commercial electrical services including but not limited to switchboard upgrades, LED lighting, smoke alarm compliance, safety inspections, ceiling fan installation, data cabling, power point installation, and general electrical maintenance.
Quotes & Pricing
All quotes provided by Carlin Co Electrical are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the scope of work described at the time of assessment. Additional work discovered during the course of a job will be communicated to you before proceeding, along with any associated costs. We provide transparent, upfront pricing with no hidden fees.
Booking & Cancellations
Appointments can be booked by phone, email, or through our website contact form. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a call-out fee.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, credit card, and cash payments. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work commences, with the balance due on completion.
Warranty & Guarantee
All electrical work performed by Carlin Co Electrical is backed by our workmanship guarantee. We stand behind the quality of our work and will rectify any defects arising from our workmanship at no additional cost. Manufacturer warranties on products and materials are separate and subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
Compliance & Safety
All electrical work is carried out in accordance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000), Victorian electrical safety regulations, and Energy Safe Victoria requirements. Certificates of Electrical Safety are issued for all prescribed electrical work as required by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carlin Co Electrical’s liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of re-performing the services or refunding the amount paid for the relevant service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
